lsn khan, if u eat them in small amounts then there is no harm..just dont exagerate in eating them cuz if u eat alot of rice and dairy products then ull eventually gain weight.. but also dont eat too little of them cuz ur body needs carbohydrates and proteins/calcuim.. so do that and + excercise everyday for 20-1 hours if u can.. and ull be just fine :D

Well rice is full of carbohydrates, so that's probably where people get that from...and also considering that fact that sumo wrestlers are fed a diet mainly consisting of white rice...

Honestly rice is not bad for you in moderation, but you definitely need more whole grain products to have a balanced diet. I would suggest kicking dairy products if you can, as they are full of hormones and antibiotics that you really don't need in your body. And since milk contains estrogens, it can make you retain water which could be part of the extra weight you are concerned about. Almond milk is the best milk replacement out there, but the store bought kind is pasteurized and put through some icky processing so you're better off making your own. I'll include a link to how to do it. It's really quite simple.

And no, eating eggs will not make you fat. Eggs are an excellent source of protein. If you eat red meats like pork and beef, that may very well be the main culprit here. Leaner meats like fatless chicken and fish are generally better for you.

White rice doesn't contain much nutritional value, and is basically just "empty carbs", to either fuel the body or be stored as fat, if you are eating to many calories compared to what your body needs. The basic problem with using white rice to meet your minimum daily calorie needs, means you are missing out on eating nutrient-dense foods in its place, which could fulfill your basic calorie requirements AND provide the plethora of nutrients your body needs daily at the same time.

Also, it is sugar/net-carb intake which causes the production of hormones necessary for your body to store extra calories as body fat. From a dietary consumption standpoint, is extremely difficult to gain body fat weight if you aren't eating excessive sugar/net-carbs, because otherwise those hormones wouldn't be there to facilitate the body fat storage in the first place (and extra calories are then mostly expelled as waste).

As for dairy products, it is the homogenization process which make dairy fat unhealthy to consume (otherwise it would be fine, because NATURAL saturated fats are healthy). Also, milk contains various animal hormones, intended for infant calf offspring, which aren't exactly compatible for a human host consuming it in large quantities. Then there is the commercial farm mistreatment, chemical supplementation and other dubious practices used to "mass produce" milk to consider...all of which make mainstream commercial milk unnatural and unhealthy to consume over the long haul.

The only dairy I would even consider consuming would be organic, natural dairy, which has NOT BEEN HOMOGENIZED. Alternatively, you could consume homogenized fat-free dairy, but then you need to be sure to consume some healthy natural fats of a similar nature from other sources with it, because your body needs those fats to process most of the nutrients in the milk anyway (PLUS you need added magnesium to even make use of 70% of the calcium in the milk, otherwise it goes to waste also).
