Is Body Volume Index a better measure of obesity than Body Mass Index?
Since the 1970s Body Mass Index (BMI) has been used as a measurement of whether someone is a healthy weight for their height. However, new thinking suggests that Body Volume Index (BVI) is a more accurate measure. NHS local put a new BVI scanner to the test with two willing volunteers who are both classified as 'overweight' on the BMI scale. How will they fare on the new BVI scale?
