how does cholesterol and obesity relate?i know that obesity can result in high cholesterol, but are they both "caused" by the same type food? or is it because of the mass intake of food? (If genetic did not play much role)

we don't get high cholesterol from the cholesterol that is in food. That is a myth. We get high cholesterol from being obese which is caused by too much food and lack of exercise. Plus genetics but you know that.
