it isn't, you tend ti find obesity runs in family's due to diet i.e if the parent are obese this is usually coz of there diet and they give their children the same fatty diet... its not genetic

I don't think it is. Obesity does seem to run in families, but its not the genes so much as the environment.....like eating habits that the parents teach the children. If you raise your child as a pig...he will become a pig.

I think it has to do with your bone structure. Some people are naturally built with larger bones so it's easier for them to get fat.
