Most of them CAN help being fat, so why do so many of them whine and complain all of the time?
If they truely DO NOT want to be fat, then they can lose weight. Why should anyone feel sorry for them?
They made the choice to stuff their faces.
Your thoughts?

I'm morbidly obese and I don't expect anyone to pity me for it, nor do I whine or complain.
I know I did it to myself and I know how to fix it.

My thoughts are, these are people who have a disease much like Alcoholics, yet it's O.K. for people like you to make fun of them. It's one of the few diseases that people can freely discriminate against.

I agree with you 100 percent on this one.
They should stop feeling sorry for themselves and put down the Twinkies.
Sorry if that sounds mean, BUT IT'S THE TRUTH

I agree with your observations, it is ultimately that person's responsibility to be fat, skinny or anywhere in between, but I still feel sorry for them. I have several 400 and 500 pound patients and they are fairly young, but their lives are more or less over. They have arthritis, hypertension, diabetes and eventually will have heart disease because of their shear size. It's such a waste.
