truncal obesity refers to fat deposits that settle in the torso and abdomen. it puts you at risk for type 2 diabetes.

you cannot get rid of truncal fat simply by doing ab crunches - it is impossible to only lose fat in one area. you can do strength training in that area to improve the tone, but no one will see it until you lose the fat by living a healthy life - eat right, exercise, and don;t smoke. you've heard it all before - now go do it.

Truncal obesity is where the fat is distributed more on the abdomen and chest, and less on the legs and arms. You can picture an apple with two toothpicks for legs.

This can be potentially bad for your health as most of our vital organs are within our abdomen & chest.

Start considering weight loss management ... :-)
