Have any of ya'll heard about the harmful effects of lavender?I want to get this out there so no other small pets get hurt! Kaytees softsorbent lavender bedding causes many problems in small animals. This company is selling this product to appeal to humans not towards small pets. Ya, the idea is good but for the small rabbits, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, etc. that are living in it, it is awful. Think of being in an enclosed room with a lady who's wearing to much of a strong perfume. Now think of your small pet living in an even small area with the lavender scent all around them 24/7. This product causes side effects that can harm your pet such as respiratory issues, skin irritations, eye infections, lethargia, and obesity. think about that next time you go to the pet store to buy bedding…
