Why do people blame society for their obesity?Life is made of choices.You either watch what you eat,exercise daily,or you can not do them.Should manufacturers,or restaurant chains be held liable for people's bad food consumption choices?

cause its easier to blame others for your problems and not take responsibilty. most people want to take the easy way out instead of working hard.

Because its easier than admitting they cant stop pushing food into their mouths.

Why should manufacturers and restaurants suffer for the personal choices made by fat, greedy pigs??

Like an Alcoholic its easier to put the blame on anybody else than accept personal responsibility for their actions.

Restaurant chains should not be held liable. Life is about making choices. However, our society has become much more fast paced. Since many of us are under much more pressure, we tend to want our food fast and frequently make a trip to McDonald's or other establishments.

They don't want to be held accountable for stuffing all the food in their face. No one should be held responsible but the one packing the food away.

No they should not be held accountable. People are given the choice to eat or not to eat. I am constantly perplexed at the number of people who will eat at a mid-priced restaurant and have the whole gang with them. Are these those same families that cry that it takes two salaries to survive while their children run wild with no direction? I think so.
